HYCD's Modern Arts of War - Untangle

18 Sep 2020, Hanoi, Vietnam

Everything was lost just when I was about to post :-? then I need to do this again *sigh*

Lesson of today: The modern Art of War by HYCD (you guess, what CD stands for ;)) Chapter 2: Untangle

Do you know how I brush my hair each and every day? Even the professionals at the hair salons may not know how to do it right. They are often lazy and would normally use a detangling hair brush, starting from the hair root to the hair end, with the whole bundle of hair. However, it is WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG. Totally WRONG~!

Of course, we still need to follow the same direction from root to end, but not with the same starting point. Instead, I would begin from and with 1/9 length of my hair strands, counting from its end, then repeat at 1/7, 1/5, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and finally from the roots, downward. It takes much longer, but it saves much better. Less strands are broken or lost. Not to mention, it is so pleasant taking care of our own self (not selves).

In addition, a normal brush made of horn is always highly recommended, rather than a[n] expensive detangling brush made from synthetic material, as the former cause less damages to the hair.

*** Similarly, it may not be the most ideal tictac to solve your current problems. It's not the method, it may be your starting point. Be patient, and strategic. Do it slowly, yet correctly [and may be partially, in connection with the bigger picture]. As well, choose what suit you the best, naturally, as if you are picking the horn brush for me. You should not take others' luxurious and well advertised instrument, unless they would serve us any better.

*** Learn this by heart, so that one day, you could run your fingers through my super silky hair [to brush and untangle them] lol.
